This function is basically hosted from grooms/ Boys side. These are some of the items that family of girl side take to this function :-
1. Basket of fruits or Goodies.
2. Dry fruits.
3. Sweets and one sweet pkt consist of ladoos.
4. Mother in law's saree + gold item.
5. Father in law's suit + gold item.
6. Groom's Suit .
7.Clothes for other members of the family. Like brothers, sisters, maternal uncles, aunts and other relatives.
8. Furniture, Electronic items.
9. Cash.
Note: It usually depends as per the financial status of a person. I am just giving you an idea!!
After the invitation cards are printed first card is given to his deity in the temple in which the family have faith. Hindus give the 1st card to "Ganesha" in temple.
